Le 19-12-1822, le Duc de Raguse, pair et maréchal de France l'a "autorisé a porterle titre de NOTRE SCULPTEUR, et à exposer sur sa boutique le tableau de NOS ARMES. (Autographe de cette autorisation à La BRUFFIERE) Il était sculpteur à Châtillon sur Seine.
